Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, (presently OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to get a flawless score of 10 in the Olympic competition. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics coach at the time she was only six years old. She first competed in the national junior championships in 1969, finishing 13th. She won the competition in the year 1970. She won three golds in her first competition in a junior pre-Olympic meeting in 1972, which was a communist countries. Between 1973 and 1974, she became the junior all-round champion. In 1975, she won 4 gold and 1 silver at her first senior competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European Champion. She took home the American Cup at the New York City Olympics and became the first woman ever to remove the bars in parallel with a double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in the entertainment industry during her teenage years in which she was a part of the figure skating duo of the sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 at Chicago Illinois US. Carol's first job was in entertainment in her teens. Her first job was as a figure skater, performing alongside her twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show known as Ice Capades. They featured staged ice skating shows.
