Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. She is known for her naive roles that are charming and likable. Adams was the youngest of seven children who lived when she was a kid in Colorado's Castle Rock. She was born while her father was employed by the U.S. Military in Italy. Adams began performing and dancing professionally in the mid-1990s with Boulder Dinner Theatre, and after that, The Country Dinner Playhouse. After moving to Minnesota where she was a part of a mock-documentary film called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) concerning beauty pageant contests. After making her screen debut as a ditzy but good-natured contestant, she moved towards Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 and September 1962. The couple had children: Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. Her film career started in the late 1940s when she was hired by MGM. The actress was noticed by Norma shearer. Through the years that followed, she appeared in many famous films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
