Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She is an actor who has appeared in multiple television series. She also excels in the field of film. Both Canadian and American Television are avid fans of Emily Irene vanCamp. Emily started acting when she was 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's films. After realizing her passion for acting she started taking acting classes and went for auditions. Initially she bagged a few commercials and was soon cast in the Canadian TV show for children Are You Afraid of the Dark? where she was seen only in one scene, without any dialog. At the age 15, she got her big break after she became part of the WB show Glory Days. Emily's acting attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti, despite the fact that the show ended in just nine short episode. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular in Everwood. Emily was a professional dancer, and also took up photography. Teen listed her as the number one actress in her 20s. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
